On October thirtieth, I was given an honor, an invitation to the National Youth Leadership Forum of Engineering. This prestigious event isn’t merely a notch on my college resume, but rather it’s a gateway to a world where innovation and brilliance converge. At this forum, I would have the privilege to pick the brains of the brightest minds in our nation. It’s an opportunity to broaden horizons, to explore the nexus of education and of excellence, and to charge a course that leads to greatness. With also, a couple college credits, being able to live the college life for a week, and understand what it takes to become a college student at some of the most prestigious colleges in the United States.

Every dream, no matter how bright, has a cost. The fee for this life-changing experience stands just shy of five thousand dollars. While my spirit is unwavering, the weight of this financial burden threatens to dim this future of myself.
