Dear friends,
I was invited by my InterVarsity staff worker here at Hillsdale to attend InterVarsity Leadership Institute (IVLI) this summer, and after lots of prayer, I feel this is where God wants me to spend a month of my summer.
IVLI will be a month of training in ministry both for the next two years of my time at Hillsdale, and for the rest of my life. God has done a lot in my life this past year, and has made it clear that He is leading me down a path of ministry/mission work. What excites me most about IVLI is the prospect of slowing down and spending a month seeking God's will for my future (while receiving practical training for the work He is doing at Hillsdale).
I know God will use this month powerfully, and I want to invite you to invest in the kingdom of God through me. I am hoping to raise a total of $2700, which will pay for IVLI and make up what I could earn in July at $8/hour. Without help, I can’t afford the cost of IVLI while losing a month’s wage. I'm hoping to raise this amount by June 15th.
