Hello AC friends. Some of you may have read the FADB post from one of our colleagues this morning.
Her name is Monica Mendoza-Gomez. She has been flying for 1 month. Trained in YVR, but sent to YYZ to fly out of there.
Her backpack was stolen on a flight yesterday, with absolutely everything of value in it, including a brand new IPad that she had been saving for for a year. As well as all her credit cards, passport, and $1000 towards next months’ rent.
Sadly she’s officially broke, and close to being homeless.
I’ve set up this page in the hopes that we’ll be able to help her get back on her feet.
