The family of baby Emmett Bryan

It is with great sadness that we are creating this page on behalf of our friends Theresia and Clint in the name of their beloved son Emmett Bryan.

Emmett was born on August 4th 2018. After a rocky start, Emmett was admitted into the Royal Randwick newborn care unit with his mum and dad by his side - Mum didn’t miss a single feed and things were looking up. After 11 days, Emmett was discharged and he spent the next fortnight where he belongs at his home in Coogee with his besotted parents.

One day, things took a very drastic turn for Emmett. He was admitted over to Westmead Children’s Hospital for specialist surgery and he would spend the next 4 weeks in Grace Intensive Care being looked after while they desperately searched for a diagnosis. As the weeks progressed it became evident that Emmett’s condition was extremely rare and with no improvement in his health, heartbreakingly, Emmett passed away in his mother’s arms last Wednesday evening after a seven week battle.

We are reaching out to family, friends and colleagues for small donations to help relieve part of the inevitable funeral costs, time off work, and financial strain that this couple are faced with.
