Ghana at Heart

I will be embarking on a 6 region tour with a team involving a Writer, Videographer, Data Collectors starting from Upper West, Upper East, Northern, Brong Ahafo, Ashanti and Eastern Region.

To capture through video and photography the true essence of these regions, Its people, plants, animals, fabrics, jewelry, crafts, places of interest, inscriptions (writings in local dialect), local games, foods, market places,music, working tools, weaponry, festivities just to mention a few.

This will later be transformed into a few books and a documentary to change the narrative given in the past. I believe its time we told our story the way it should be.

I have been doing this portrayal of Ghana in my own little way for some few years now and I believe I am ready to do this on a grand scale portraying Ghana for what its truly worth.
I believe wholeheartedly in this, that Ghana our beloved motherland has a lot to offer to both its local and foreign dwellers. It just hasn't been projected in my humble opinion to the masses in the right way.

I dont think I need to talk much to validate my passion for Ghana as far as loving and envisioning it the way I do even with all it flaws/issues. But there is a saying that goes like this '' See a thing the way it is and it gets worse but see it as it can be and it gets better'' We cant continue to ran our country down with our mouths
constantly based on how things are, knowing the power of images I will like to endeavor you to see through my lens and lets together find ways and means to emulate what is there and enhance it.


I will like to take this opportunity to ask you for your support . I am setting a Go fund me account to raise funds for this 8 weeks tour project called Ghana At Heart. We are crew of 7. I am in need of some gear that will put this project in a world class production status. That alone is in the $40,000 range.
That comes before Accommodation, Transportation, Fuel, Food, Guide fees, Donations etc etc.


Im raising 50-75,000.00 US for this venture . No amount is too small. Both sponsorship and donations are welcome.
