Raising money to cover the cost of equipment and a Therapeutic Scuba Experience hosted by Under the Surface, for Canadian Military Veterans, First Responders and others with physical and mental injuries.
At UTS we believe scuba diving as a form of therapy is an innovative approach to health & wellness that Canadians should have access to. Researchers have recognized the amazing therapeutic benefits of scuba diving, not just in the process itself but as having lasting effects on mental status, physical activity and improved relationships. It has been used in the rehabilitation of thousands of Veterans around the world, yet there is no organization dedicated to scuba therapy in Canada, until now. It's time we give Canadians the opportunity to explore the possibilities, and with your help, Under the Surface is ready to do just that.
