PAST
The Path4Life Student Center opened in June of 2010. Thanks to the financial support from our local community and thousands of volunteer hours over the past 5 years, the Path as been able to achieve and maintain it’s goal of influencing students down a “Path” that leads to life change.
PRESENT
The Path atmosphere is safe, fun, and caring; furthermore it provides students with social interaction, spiritual influence, educational assistance, and more. Currently the daily attendance is averaging 30 students in a town of 1,045. The Path has seen an increase in students each year, which has lead us to hire an intern to provide a consistent mentor on site daily for the students.
FUTURE
With 5 successful years, the Path feels it is necessary to do more for the students. After taking a survey of the student population, the Path would like to offer programs and activities such as: self defense, volunteering in the community, art classes, music classes, financial foundations, GED assistance, tutoring, and camping/teambuilding activities. In order to implement these new activities and programs and maintain our current level of services the Path feels the need to hire our first full time staff member. Thus the need for this Gofundme campaign. We would like to hire Becky Townsend as the Path4Life Executive Director to actualize the Path’s goal to give back to the students and community.
Please consider helping us raise $25,000 for the salary and expense needed to help the Path lead even more students down a positive Path 4 Life !
