Help Sara & Lennon come home

Hi and welcome to our campaign. We are a family of 4, Dana (dad) 44, Sara (mom) 37, Finn 3, Lennon 1 month.
Let’s start by telling you how we got here. Sara had to be hospitalized three weeks before our youngest Lennon was born. She had to have a c-section due to health risks (preeclampsia) to her and Lennon. He was born on December 21st at 30 weeks and placed in the NICU. Sara was released from the hospital on Dec 24th.
On Jan 7th Sara had a heart attack and had to have two stints put in to keep two arteries open. One artery was 100% blocked and the other was 95% blocked. Both blockages were caused from blood clots. One of the clots went to her brain, causing a stroke.
Sara has had many complications along the way. The worst being flash pulmonary edema (fluid in the lungs) which caused her to be put back on the breathing tube for four days. When doctors tried to remove the tube, she aspirated and her heart stopped. They had to call a code blue as her heart stopped for 65 seconds. She was revived but in very critical condition. She had to be placed in a prone bed for 36 hours to help the ventilator keep her oxygenated.
Recently Sara was moved back to a normal hospital bed and has stabilized however a temporary trach was put in her neck. The trach allowed for the breathing tube to be pulled. Sara is making small strides measured in baby steps.
Currently we are being told that Sara could stay in the hospital for five to seven more weeks. Once she is out of the hospital, it could be another six months or longer before she can return to work. I need to be able to care for the boys and be with Sara as much as possible. (Lennon will be out of NICU soon.) With no income while we’re both off work; we’re asking for your help. It isn’t easy to ask for help but we’ve got to get Sara well so that she can be here for her babies.
