A few years ago Russ found out he had kidney cancer. They removed his kidney and put him on dyalsis. He refused to be put on a transplant list. He believed someone else younger would need it more than him, because he has lived a good life! Russ takes dyalsis 3 days a week. Roughly a year and a half ago, Russ was diagnosed with melanoma skin cancer in the lymphoid of his leg. They removed the mass and said he was ok. Short time later another tumor. They removed it again and the cancer then spread like widefire. Lungs, liver, stomach, by his heart, and now potentially his colon and brain. He now has stage 4 and has only been given a few short months to live.
My mom and Russ will/would never ask anyone for help. So I am going to do it for them! Russ came to an end of being covered for insurance, from his place that he was employed at. Mom's insurance picked him but now they are refusing to cover anything for him with medications at the moment. He cannot get medicare rx till beginning of next year. His medical expenses a month are WAY more than this, but ANYTHING would help them! Mom works as much as she can, unless he needs her home.
Any amount would be GREATLY appreciated! No donation is too little to us. Thank you in advance for even taking the time out in reading this!
