Service Dog Training for a Better life for Paige

Donation protected
Hello, I’m Paige Rice. I have always loved animals and used animals as emotional support. I have been diagnosed with type 3 Von Willebrand Disease, which is a blood clotting disorder. If I was to get in an accident, my blood would not clot properly. Due to this condition I am also  anemic, making me prone to fainting and dizziness. Problems with rapidly shifting blood sugar are also present. Recently emerging have been extreme joint and muscle issues pointing towards an auto immune condition.  I also deal with mental health issues that effect a-lot of areas of my life, experiencing regular panic attacks and harmful behaviors. Animals are always something I go to in times of an episode. As I get older and go to college and enter the workforce, I will be more independent.  This is scary for me and my family. If I was alone and got dizzy and fell, it would be difficult for me to get help. A properly trained service dog would be able to help alert others and myself in an accident situation. The dog would help stabilize me in public and make sure if i was to faint me and others would be safe. In stressful public situations a dog would help reduce my anxiety. A dog would also help bring me down from panic/anxiety attacks through tactics such as deep pressure therapy. My doctors are in agreement that a service dog would be really beneficial to me. The only problem is the cost. Service dog training is very expensive. that’s why this gofundme was started, to help raise funds to get and train a service dog. thank you.
