Hi, My name is Britt Chepenik and both my husband and I are US Army (ret) military veterans. My husband and I have a home in Rotonda West, FL, in the same neighborhood as my parents, so that we can care for my aging parents, who have myriad health issues. Hurricane Ian directly hit our neighborhood on 28 SEP, significantly destroying our and my parents houses. Am hoping to raise funds to help with our recovery efforts and aid in restoring our homes, especially since my parents are on limited incomes and struggle in this economy. Any funds in excess of the goal will go to help others impacted by this devastating CAT 4/5 storm, especially the elderly who are struggling in these trying economic times! This storm was NO JOKE!!!!!! My dad mentioned it was the worst he has seen in nearly a century!!! God bless you all and thank you for your kindness and generosity!
