Anyone one out there have a "Clint Eastwood" personality in their life? You know the kind of person that just has this presence , this stern, observant , yet kind and fast witted,  patient  personality. One that sits there quitely while everyone is loud and talking over eachother and out of the blue will say something that just floors everyone. The kind of person that will not take excuse or reasons for laziness. They will never ask for help and will fix or figure anything out till as long as it takes and not just leave it to rot away. Has the old school cowboy soul and the manners to prove it . That person in my life is my Uncle Curtis. He is truly old school manners and will teach you just about anything on life in just the smallest amount of words. This man is a working man. Earlier to rise and late to sleep. Works non stop and takers care of his family's land and animals . He is the old school cowboy that you think his legs are made out of denim and boot because the only skin you have EVER seen on him is his hands and face (pretty sure his legs are the color of ice , they have never seen sun) .

In December 2014 my uncle was  diagnosed Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). It's has turned into more aggressive leukemia. He has been  undergoing chemo throughout the past three years. He was keeping the leukemia under control with chemo pills,  recently my uncles condition has worsened and become more aggressive .  He has been hospitalized numerous times and his stays are getting longer, his last hospitalization had him in there for 20 days. The chemo they are giving him is not  reacting well with his body and making the treatment a lot harder than It needs to be.  The past 2 months have left Curtis out of work and minimal activities. My aunt Tara has also been out of work to be home to take care of him 24/7.

The  prognosis of the treatment is to do several sessions of chemo to knock out the aggressive cells to make him a candidate for a bone marrow transplant. This process has been a roller coaster from one Dr. Saying there is hope with this journey and another saying it's not looking so good. This has caused not only emotional stress and  devastation  on all of our family but also him as well. From a man that could get kicked by a horse and not  shed a tear to seeing him loose his spirit sitting in a wheel chair becuse he hates feeling  enable.

He is a proud man and I'm doing this on my own will, I'm asking anyone and everyone who can please help my family. I know not being able to provide for his family is weighing on him and if some of this burden can be limited so he can focus on getting his body strong will help. My aunt is a mess and trying to hold it all together and be so strong for him and it's tearing her down. This has been a long battle and I knoweveryone has obligations and priorities. If anything please share and pass this around! This type of man is a rare species these days and myself , his family and all who know him would love to keep him around for as long as we can . Please share . Thank you for your kindness and I'll keep you posted on his battel. Love , liz
