More than a van .....if we are God's love with skin on, then our van was God's love to a desperate world wrapped in Ford steel. Please Share this fundraiser.
This GoGundMe is specific to our need for a vehicle, since a fire destroyed ours today: Well done my good and faithful servant... RIP to the HKT van which caught fire and was destroyed at the compound in Toretsk , Ukraine a total loss and thank God Teresa and the staff/kids were spared. More than a machine or bucket of bolts , our van brought the love of God to the people of our war torn community. Teresa would day trip a bunch of Center kids to the city swimming lake, some for first time, to teach them how to swim properly and then had to rescue one; the van was Santa’s sleigh for many years-loaded with presents, still remember pulling up at a orphanage and heard the screams for Santa. In the beginning of the ‘war’ here the Russians bombed our city water supply, middle of summer Teresa loaded some friends up and found a saint who had a well in the battle region close to us, Teresa dodged the danger and brought water back to Toretsk, and finally the van was integral in our feeding programs and thousands were fed out of the back of the van...the invalids like Diana and Dimas' who were picked up and placed in the van for appointments and church when No One else would help them...the van brought so much life and light even in the dark of war, the van delivered supplies to the troops in many dangerous always muddy situations, it brought the love of God to our people, going to places of desperation, fear, hunger,death the van always delivered us ....now it is gone, like losing a family member, clinging to the promises of God, pray for us, especially Teresa who was traumatized by the incident and we are starting a Go Fund Me to purchase a 'new' ministry vehicle so please help, we are undeterred b/c “the One in us is greater than the one in the world”......
