Every year we do a collection for the Children’s home in Caldas da Rainha, I am always bowled over by how kind and generous most people are. Last year we collected enough that we were able to buy lovely gifts for all the children and even have enough to give vouchers to the older kids and for once they were able to buy and chose themselves a pair of shoes or items of clothing in the sales, something which they don’t get to do and was a big treat for them. It would be great if we could do the same this year too. The younger kids do get some small presents from various businesses (cheap and cheerful) but the older ones get very little. Christmas is all about the children so please please contribute if you can. It’s a great cause.
