After Jeremy's unexpected collapse during Boot Camp he was diagnosed with a rare disorder, Guillain-Barre syndrome, causing his immune system to attack his nerves. Now on a breathing machine and losing muscle strength, things are going to get worse before they get better.
Bonnie, of course, has been the supremely supportive wife, flying out to be with him at the hospital the first moment she could and sleeping in his room because of the lack of hotel rooms nearby. Her silver-lining Facebook updates have been both heartbreaking and inspiring to those who love them.
This fundraising page has been created to allow well-wishers to help Jeremy and Bonnie in their struggle to get through this together; for the short-term as Bonnie navigates supporting a loved one while in a strange town, and for the long term as Jeremy fights to recover over the coming months and possibly years.
