I'd like to share something with everyone regarding my life's journey. I hope sharing this sheds light on who I am and where I am in regards to the trajectory of my life.
I've always felt out of place and that something inside of me wasn't matching up to who I truly am. I started doing the art of female impersonation and thought that would fill the void. I have enjoyed my many years of entertaining as Krista Versace, but I came to the realization that this void was still open. After an extensive amount of thought, I have decided to transition and I’ve slowly been transitioning for 1 year and 6 months.
I am finally ready for one of my first major milestones, surgery. The thought of surgery is exciting yet a bit frightening at the same time. I plan to have my trachea shaved, brow lift, and hairline cut down. These changes will go a long way in having a more feminine appearance in day to day life. A huge hurdle associated with surgery is money. I have been saving over time, but have realized that my savings won't cover all the costs. I decided to post a GoFundMe page to request assistance from my friends and family. Every bit helps and I am truly appreciative of any support that can be given (small or large).
