Hey Everyone,
A lot of you know already that Annette has had a serious stroke last week in Spain. She's lost the use of her right arm and can't speak or walk - leaving her so severely disabled that she need constant 24/7 medical attention.
She was brought into Torreveija Hospital outside Alicante for 7 days and being unable to walk, talk or receive any sort of recovery plan Annette was discharged from the hospital today - even though all the gang put up a serious fight they just threw her out! They didn't change her or dress her!
The family are trying everything. They've been onto the HSE, consultants and the embassy but as far as the HSE are concerned its the fault of the hospital.
It's an absolute disgrace what Annette and the family are going through. They weren't given any sort of advice or support medically, or helped with appliances and they basically just threw her out.
They are trying their best to look after Annette but she's not in the right place to get looked after. Her care is becoming very expensive and the healthcare system has let her down! It's disgusting the way she is being treated.
Anyone who knows Annette knows she is the most loving, funny and caring woman you'll probably ever meet - never mind the strongest!
We just want to get her home to get the proper care she needs but need everyone to help! The hospitals won't even help now and they are in desperate need to get her home!
