My Mom's Funeral Costs

My Story

As hard and difficult as this is for me to do, I am doing it for my Mom. Unfortunately, I am not in the best position to be handling this alone and I need help, which is what I am asking from my friends and family. Since my Mom did not remarry and I am her only child everything falls on my shoulders to carry on with the process. Being a single parent myself, I don't have all the means to make this as smooth and easy as it could be. I have done as much as I can thus far in the process, and all that I have left is to finish the cremation and funeral services. Any little thing that you could spare to donate would be greatly appreciated and I would be forever thankful.

All the best,
Sarah, Jasper and Deb (from above)

I have included her obituary below for those who are interested.

We talk about loved ones who have passed because we're proud. We talk about them, because they deserve to be remembered. We talk about them, because even though they are not physically with us, they are never far from our mind. We talk about them, because they are a part of us, a part that we could never ignore or disown. We talk about them because we love them still and always will. Forever. Nothing will change that.

Her Obituary

Deborah Ann Emerson passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017.  She was born on August 28, 1963  in Warner Robbins, Georgia  to Beverly (Daly) McNeal and the late Richard McNeal.  Deborah was a high school teacher that had great love for her students.  She taught both English and math.  Deborah loved literature, especially Shakespeare, and had the unique ability to  take whatever subject matter she was teaching and make it fun.   She was very inspiring and led students with her own positive influence.  Deborah was an avid reader.   Her interests in books were vast, but she enjoyed readying anything to do with the arts.  Deborah was a free spirit that also enjoyed music.  One of her favorite artists was Prince.  When the right song hit her and the mood moved her, she would dance and could not be stopped.  Deborah had a kind and generous heart and was gracious to everyone she met.  She had a soft spot for animals, she was a dreamer, quixotic and lived her life to the beat of her own drum.  She will be missed by those she loved, and those that loved her.

Deborah is survived by her mother: Beverly Daly, her daughter, Sarah Emerson and her grandson, Jasper Polk. She is also survived by her brother, Steve McNeal and all the immediate families respectively.
