  Team Connor At the age of 18 months Connor began to show signs of regression. He began to loose basic skills such as speech, socialization, and awareness. At the age of 4 Connor was diagnosed with the following: * Level 3 severe Autism * Aphasia (non-verbal) * Developmental regression * Mixed receptive- expressive language disorder * ADHD * Sensory processing disorder * Anxiety Connor struggles from day to day as a result of this diagnoses, he can’t tell us when something is bothering him, or play with other kids because he doesn’t know how. Most days his aggravation gets so bad he bangs his head on walls out of frustration. We are needing your help to raise funds for Stem Cell therapy. Stem Cell Therapy is the use of stem cells from the umbilical cords donated from a mother after a normal, healthy birth. The body’s immune system is unable to recognize umbilical cord derived stem cells as foreign and therefore they are not rejected. There has been a wide range of gains experienced from patients of stem cell injections. Following is just a few to be listed: * Increases in speech * Enhanced communication * Socialization skills * Less repetitive behaviours * Less anxiety and panic attacks This is the hope we have been looking for that will give Connor a chance! However, this therapy is not cheap, all expenses (such as flights, lodging, treatments, and other costs) are around $20,000 dollars. Because Stem Cell Therapy has not yet been FDA-approved in the United States we have to travel to Panama City, Panama. We are asking you for your help to offset these costs. Any and every little bit of support you offer will go towards getting Connor the help he so desperately needs.
