Hershey’s Vet Bills

Our Chihuahua, Hershey has dealt with Diabetes for the past 3 years. The past few weeks she’d been fighting diabetes that couldn’t be balanced and kidney failure. She spent practically every other night at the emergency vet, and spent everyday with her diabetes being monitored by a freestyle libre device and being fed through a feeding tube. After weeks of fighting, Hershey’s kidneys began to shut down and we had no choice but to put her out of her misery and say our goodbyes. Unfortunately, in addition to our grieving, we are faced with $16,000 in vet bills from the past 3 weeks of trying absolutely everything possible to keep her alive.
