Sadie's Surgery

My Life as my new Furever Mom knows.
My name is Sadie. I was found running at Large June 2019. They say I was in rough shape, looked like I'd been running a long time. My paws were all beat up, I had no fur on my belly or my tail. My skin on my belly looked and felt like elephant skin. Once taken in, they found I had parasites in my skin, a chronic ear infection in my left ear and I didnt have much control of my bladder. Everytime I stood up, I leaked everywhere.
I had some trial runs visiting to see if I could get along with the house cat. Mom says this is STILL a work in progress after 3 months!
Saturday September 14th, I was picked up from the horse farm, where I was living in the barn. My Mom took me home with her and said we are family now and she is going to love me forever! She always tells me I'm suck a pretty girl! ♥️
I got into the vet right away on Monday and we found 2 meds that work together. I have no more bladder leakage! Yay! I was tired of her always wiping my back legs with those wipes.
Now let's talk about my ear. I've been on some of the strongest antibiotics and nothing worked. I had a minor surgery to find out there is an inflammatory polyp way deep in there in front of my ear drum. They only took a chunk of it to culture, which came back with a Pseudomonas Bacteria, very hard to get rid of because after a short time the body becomes immune and meds need to get changed.
I seen a Dermatologist a week ago. It has been determined that I will have surgery on January 3, 2020 for a TECA. Total Ear Canal Ablation. They will be taking out my inner ear parts, leaving me deaf in my left ear. The other option was to remove the polyp, but there is a high probability of it returning, resulting in the chronic ear infections again.
Although this is the best option, with long term results, it's an expensive surgery, and My Furever Momma could use some help with the expenses. She doesn't like to ask for help so I'm gonna put my pretty face out there and ask for her.
Momma said no amount is too small!
Thanks for reading my story!
