For Delilah

Hello! My name’s Emily, im setting this ‘gofundme’ for my cousin Delilah’s death just yesterday due to the hit-n-run off of Crescent & Garrick in Waukegan, IL . My cousins and uncle were “walking their bikes” stated in the report when a driver struck them at full speed. No remorse. My uncle needed some stitches in the back of his head and face. My male cousin Johnny got a few scratches and some bruises but thankfully his injuries were minor. Unfortunately, my babygirl Delilah didn’t make it. The doctors stated her heart had stopped before she arrived to the ER. They stated she started bleeding internally & her brain began to bleed as well. “Delilah suffered too much of a traumatic impact and her heart just couldn’t take it”, stated her doctor. The doctors stated they did everything they could; CPR, blood transfusions, and the shock paddles as well, but they couldn’t get her heart to start again. At 10:45 P.M on July 31st the doctors let us know she didn’t make it. I just hope she didn’t suffer.

My aunt, uncle, and cousins & us all are suffering in our loss of our little girl Delilah. Delilah had just turned 14 the 24th of July too . We’re setting the ‘gofundme’ to help raise money for my aunt and uncle as this was all so sudden. The money raised will go towards funeral expenses & medical bills, and any kind of therapy if needed.
