Hello, firstly thank you for reading this. My name is Kia, mother of two boys. Back in February of 2025, I was diagnosed with pneumonia, which as many of you may know, is dangerous, especially for someone who is asthmatic. From then, I was additionally referred to a lung specialist who then in addition had me referred to a sleep specialist, which confirmed that I have sleep apnea. Every time I go into my next appointment, the doctors are not finding me getting well; I'm getting worse. My asthma hasn’t been able to be controlled and im waiting on insurance to approve biologics. I've been working on getting STD through my work insurance company Broadspire; however, they have me keep jumping through loops with no pay. I have nothing left, and I have no idea how long this process will continue. I don’t feel like a mom anymore. I can’t even walk across the street to take my babies to school without nearly fainting. Regardless of how I am, my bills for my babies need to be paid.

So this is why I'm asking for help, just something to help us get by. Any and all help will be appreciated.
