Sports Wheelchair

Hey Gang! My name is Todd Santmyer. I am a Regional Partner for a fitness and lifestyle company called LiveSore. While doing a little research, something caught my eye. Adaptive athletes. I looked further into the world of adaptive athletes and discovered that the cost of a wheelchair for sport related activities is EXPENSIVE! I understand that sport chairs are handmade to an athlete’s own individual specifications and are designed to take the abuse that a chair built for daily transportation cannot withstand hence, that is the reason for the cost. (Fair enough) But… That cost is over and above any existing or mounting medical bills as insurance companies will not pay for such a specialized item. That is why I am starting this campaign. I would like to raise enough funds $3695 (the quoted price for a   sports chairs) to be able to provide an adaptive athlete a wheelchair that will allow them to participate in competitions that they would not otherwise have the opportunity.
