Help Thy Neighbor

You know the saying “When it rains, it pours”?  2020 has been a difficult year for everyone.  It has been no different for this family that I am trying to help. They only have one income, that income was stalled for several weeks if not a couple months due to personal injury.  This family, like many others have gotten behind on their bills during this pandemic. This one specific bill that I am trying to help them with is their water. Since the pandemic they have done fairly well at keeping it caught up for the most part. But after the personal injury to the only person making an income for the family, they began to fall behind. And now comes the saying “when it rains it pours!” They found out they had a huge water leak! Their bill for two months is more than what a household of 9 is! They only have 4 in their home. The mother already struggles with depression and as you can expect it has gotten worse during this time. I would like to help them by at least taking this burden off of their shoulders. The husband has just now begun to go back to work.  I know this small community watches out for thy neighbor, and I’m hoping anybody that is able to chip in a little bit of money for this family, will be extremely appreciated.  If I had the money, I would just pay it myself. But our water bill runs a little over $100 each month as it is. But my plan is to chip in the difference of what was raised to the total that they need. So I am asking any friends of mine and any of our local residents, please help out this family in need during this terrible time.  Like I said I know everybody is struggling this year. But those of us who can help or even would just like to pay it forward, any little amount truly does help! And yes their bill has already been adjusted for the leak.  Also this family does not know that I am doing this, because they have too much pride to ask for help for something like this. And even after it’s done I will still not let the family know how the money was raised or by who.  Thank you everyone for all you are capable of doing to help.
