Study Abroad Fundraiser

This "Gofundme" page has been created so I can raise money for a study abroad trip to Lyon and Paris, France! I have been especially selected to join the Deans International Opportunity Program from the College of Professional Studies at St. John's University. I have dreamed of traveling around the world and experiencing different cultures and I have been given a wonderful opportunity to do so. I am currently enrolled at St. John's University as a continuing student (sophomore) studying Criminal Justice with a concentration in Forensic Psychology. Since my admissions at SJU I have maintained a 3.94 GPA all while having a part-time job and being actively involved in organizations on campus. If you are curious as to what your donation will contribute to, here is a small list!
This study abroad program will involve:
1. Enrollment in an ENT 1000: Creativity, Innovation & Entrepreneurship for the spring 2019 semester.
2. Myself and a group of SJU students will travel to Lyon and Paris, France for eight days! (January 6 – January 14, 2019) as an introduction to our Entrepreneurship course that we will complete during the spring 2019 semester at the Queens campus.
3. And here’s the best part… the cost! Students are responsible for a $600 program fee plus roundtrip airfare!
In order to afford this program I am raising money for the $600 fee (and $250 deposit) and as well for the airfare from New York to Europe. The deadline for the application and as well for the fee will be on October 13th, which is why I am raising money to be able to put down my fee and application in on time. I appreciate the time and thought in donating for my "Gofundme" page!
Being able to be a part of the Deans International Opportunity Program would be such a privilege and I believe a great experience. I would be ever so grateful for the donation you can contribute to for my study abroad trip to France!
