Dad's Funeral expenses

My father went into the hospital on 10/26 with shortness of breath. He called and told me he was fine. Not to worry and that I didn't need to come to the hospital. I got a call at 5am the next day...his heart stopped and they spent over 25 minutes trying to revive him. They couldnt get his heart started again.He had no life insurance or savings. He has/had a mountain of debit mostly hospital bills. I was not prepared for this to happen.
