<div>Along with many other troubles December has thrown our way, our beloved Holland Lop, <strong>Pumpkin, fell ill recently</strong>. She was found limping, falling over, as if crawling desperately to get help. She could barely stand, let alone walk. She was immediately brought to the animal hospital, where she spent three days in the ICU and they diagnosed her with a severe case of Vestibular Disease.

<div><strong>Pumpkin is an important part of our household</strong>. She's been in our family for 5 years now. She's truly nudged her way into our hearts. She's our little angel (literally—her fur pattern has angel wings on the back!) and we'd do anything to give her the best care she needs to recover.

<div>The issue is, we don't have the resources to give her that care. December alone has been a very hard month, from myself currently going through some very scary medical issues to the unexpected rising cost of electricity bills; things have been hard to manage.

<div>My father is a 100% disabled, retired veteran, and I work a minimum wage retail job. With all of the treatment Pumpkin has had to receive because of this painfully unexpected ordeal, we were completely overwhelmed by the financial burden it would create. There's only so much we can do alone.
</div>

<div>With a case of Vestibular Disease such as Pumpkin's, it's hard to determine what we can do to help her. She's on many antibiotics, and she's being tested for E. cuniculi. Medical treatment will differ depending on what it turns out to be. That means things will only get more expensive.
</div>

<div>We know it's the worst time of year to be asking for donations right now, but <strong>anything helps, even sharing the link means the world to us</strong>.
