Friends of NICU

On the 24th of September 2018, I became a first time Mom. But my daughter was born preterm and had to spend time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) of the KorleBu Teaching Hospital, Accra - Ghana(West Africa)
I knew there was a reason I had to go through that experience.

•I noticed that especially the C3 ward that houses the babies who are not kept in the incubator needed extra help with both medical and non medical supplies.

•The babies there need to be clothed but because they do not have enough clothing at the hospital, the babies are wrapped with a cot sheet that looks so old and worn out.
Meanwhile the air condition is always on 16 degrees.
As a result, I decided to adopt that unit and support them in anyway I can.

•So 2018 Christmas together with some friends and family,we donated among other things, baby clothing, baby food, diapers to mention but a few to the unit.

•This coming Easter on the 19th of April, 2019 we are donating to the unit again. you can support us with funds to buy some supplies like sanitizers, diapers, wipes, cot sheet , baby food, baby clothing and some medical supplies etc.

•Again, there are some mothers who have been discharged but are being detained because they cannot settle their $50 hospital bill. Last Christmas, we paid for a detained mother to go home and enjoy her bundle of joy.
We can help send more needy and detained mothers home with your support .

•Kindly join me to put smiles on the faces of some families at the NICU this Easter and beyond.

No contribution is too small.

Be a friend of NICU today.

Thank you.

God bless you.
