Hysterectomy and fibroid surgery

Hey everyone,
So a couple years ago I was diagnosed with fibroids. They were pretty large then. Well, over the last couple of years, they have grown even larger- to the point where they have taken over. My last MRI showed that I have 3 extremely large ones ( about the equivalent to being 22 weeks pregnant) and then a whole bunch of smaller ones thrown in for good measure.
Well, it got to the point where my only option was surgery. I had my surgery May 3rd. Because of the size of the fibroids and complications it gave, it wound up becoming a hysterectomy (so taking away any chance I have of ever having children)- which has been devastating- both emotional and physical. One of the concerns my doctor had was that one or more may have contained cancer cells, but thank God that was not the case as they tested negative.
During the surgery there were some complications as I was hemorrhaging in the beginning. This increased my overall recovery time. I was supposed to be in the recovery room for only 2 hours and wound up being there for over 4 hours. It also delayed my release from the hospital and I had to stay an extra day. During my recovery I had to have 2 blood transfusions and even after those, my platelet count was lower than it should have been.
After 5 days in the hospital, I am finally at home, though in more pain than I've ever felt. The recovery time is 6-8 weeks which will potentially force me out of work for the remainder of the school year as I was hoping to return after 4 weeks.
I am not one to ask for charity, but with the surgery, the hospital stay, the anesthesiologists, and being out of work (leave without pay) for potentially 8 weeks, Its hard for me to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I understand times are tough and if you are not able to assist financially, please continue to pray for a speedy recovery and that I will find the funds to cover these hardships.
I know God is in control and has this whole thing taken care of! I find comfort in that.
