<div>The recent fires that have swept through Los Angeles have left countless families, including the Rodgers family, reeling from unimaginable loss. Their apartment is left in unlivable conditions, and they are now facing the heartbreaking reality of rebuilding their lives from the ground up.

<div>Lora, a talented prop master in film and television, has already been struck by the challenges of the past few years, including COVID-19, industry strikes, and the slowdown of local productions. Chris, a dedicated surf and skate instructor and a beloved community member, is someone you’ve likely met at Becker Surf or the Chili Cook-Off. Their daughter, Samantha, who just started her first year of college this September, now faces an uncertain future alongside her family as they work to recover.

<div>As renters, their journey to recovery will be especially challenging, as they’ve lost their home and the essentials we often take for granted—clothes, cookware, and the everyday items that create a sense of normalcy.
