Help Aaron Fight Cancer

Donation protected

This was my post of May 3rd:
Ok calling all prayer warriors. It has been a week. This is a picture of my newest grandbaby.
And we need to pray for mommy and daddy. This week daddy went to the doctor because he thought he had pneumonia... they found a mass and are now waiting on a biopsy to rule out lymphoma. In the meantime, as I type this the pain got so bad daddy has been admitted to Vanderbilt because they found a blood clot in his lung.

The next night:
Another night of observation. Resting heart rate is still 120-130, so they are doing an echocardiogram to make sure his heart muscles are holding up to the marathon his body is trying to run.

My son-in-law is still in the hospital. His sonogram came back that there is no damage to the heart. They have put him on beta blockers in hopes to get his resting heart rate back to normal. It has been running 130 for many days now.

They will do a pet scan today to make sure there are no other masses or infection. They all agree it looks to be lymphoma but the biopsy is not a scheduled till Thursday.

Thank you all for the prayers.

Update today May 14th we finally have a diagnosis

He has Large B Cell non-Hodgkin's lymphoma

This is all we know so if you would continue to pray. Thank you

Today May 16th.  Oncology appointment.  Here is what they walked out with:

On May 17th:  They will be checking his bone morrow to see if it has spread.

On Monday, May 20th Aaron will be admitted to the hospital for 5 days. He will have 96 hours of constant chemo, Prior to the chemo they will give him Rituxan, which basically kills everything in his body so the chemo isn't being blocked by anything.
This chemo process is 5 days one 3 weeks off 5 days hospital stay 3 weeks home... they repeat this process for 18 weeks.

He can not work for a minimum of 6 months, and that's if the chemo works the first time.
