Hard working dad

I'm a hard working dad who sells cars and has been deemed essential. Yeah, essential. Guess what , essential isn't paying the bills. I'm stuck here at work full time trying to sell cars and blanking. Who is out buying cars right now??? My phone isn't ringing. 

I don't usually do this kind of thing but yesterday was and EXTREMELY stressful day for my wife and I. We are both deemed essential and are working daily and have two kiddos at home out of school. Luckily our 15 year old is a heaven sent when it comes to watching her brother, who is 7, and homeschooling him. He was diagnosed a couple of years ago with AD/HD and can be a handful at times which explains the stress yesterday. See, she turns 16 in May and is looking forward to getting a job which leaves us with a HUGE ??? as to what we are going to do with our 7 year old. With his AD/HD, how do you find someone new to take him on in place of his sister??? With school out and summer school an uncertainty we are in limbo  and can't afford to take on a new payment for child care. 

Let's back up a little, .................I've sold cars for over 20 years and stuck with it through the ups and downs, sacrificed family time with unbearable hours at the dealership, and held on WAAAAYYYYY longer than most.. That being said, in 2018 I was offered a situation where I could escape the car sales life and start a little company of my own. Without getting into too much detail, WORST FINANCIAL DECISION OF MY LIFE. Family time increased tenfold, we got to spend evenings together, have dinner every night, go places on the weekends , and basically have what you all have. A LIFE!!!!! BUT, WOW, the business I started.......I guess I should have done more research and not just taken someone's word that it was easy and lucrative. I mean, it was at first, but as time progressed and I saw how flooded that market was and how cutthroat other vendors like myself were and that the loyalty to a person DIDN'T exist. I learned quickly that being a business owner in a flooded market and during a time of retraction just wasn't going to work financially so back to selling cars I had to go. Luckily, the dealership I worked at prior saw the need to have me back and offered me a schedule that would give me the LIFE that I so desired when I left in the first place. Who would have though that the world would have stopped two short months after coming back??? 

So, here I am, essential, trying to restart my old career after ruining my credit and putting EVERYTHING I had into my buisiness venture. 46 years old and starting from scratch. Luckily, we've kept the house and cars in check but I'm afraid that anything new will just ruin that.  How can this be possible????


I'm going to use these funds to keep up during this pandemic and to keep from losing everything. I need this ASAP! This will mean the world for my family. Thank you for looking!!!
