Memorial for Pernell Cudjoe

We are raising funds to help the family of Pernell Cudjoe following his tragic death on March 5th 2019. Pernell was a loving son, brother and father. Our goal is to help his partner Tatiana and their newborn son Aris cope with their loss and to help them have a strong foundation for their future without him.

Family was always Pernell's North Star. Whether it was spending time with Tatiana, caring for his newborn son, Aris, or hanging out with his parents and brothers, he was always there for those who were closest to him.

Tatiana and Pernell were looking to move into a new home before the end of the year. They were also hoping to start a fund for Aris's future education. We would like to help Tatiana meet both of these goals, and are looking to raise as much as we can. We've set an initial objective of $25,000 by April 1, but any amount you can offer will make a big difference for Pernell's family.

About Pernell

Pernell was a fantastic father and a loving husband. When he and Tatiana welcomed Aris into the world, he devoted himself to creating the best space possible for his son to grow and thrive. Not only would he stay up late at night to give Aris his bottle, but he and Tatiana started looking for a new, bigger home where Aris could have his own space and they could all live together as a family. Pernell worked extremely hard at his job in order to make that vision a reality for them in the future.

Those who know Pernell know that he loved basketball and everything LeBron James. Much like The King, Pernell was an excellent ball-handler on the court and would spend many afternoons and evenings shooting hoops with his brothers and their friends. It's on the basketball court that many got to know him in his element.

About This Fundraiser

We are friends, family and coworkers of Pernell who want to give his young family help in their time of need. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly to a trust fund that has been set up for Aris to help Pernell's family build the future he envisioned for them and pay tribute to his memory.
