So who wants to see me bald?  

About a year ago my sister Denise (aka DeeDee) was diagnosed with stage-3 colorectal cancer.  She endured chemo and radiation and all the nasty side effects that come along with it.   Needless to say it was a very long and difficult road but after months of treatment all signs indicated that it was successfull.  In June she went in forPET scan where it was expected the results would show the tumor was on its way out and she was on the road to a full remission.  Unfortunately the scan showed the opposite -- that the cancer had spread to her liver.  So now she is Stage 4 and has started back on chemo therapy (a more potent version than before) to fight once again.  Unlike with the previous chemo treatment, this time she has lost her gorgeous thick hair.  She is continuing to work at this point but we anticipate an upcoming surgery where she will need to take some time off (unpaid).  She is a single mom and as you can imagine (or some of you know), fighting cancer ain't cheap.  Anyone who knows Denise  knows how big her heart is and now its time for us to show her how big our hearts are!  

So in support of my brave, strong, beautiful sister, I am willing to go bald.  When you donate please vote either "yes" (i shave my head) or "no" (I'm keeping the locks) -- just include in the comments section which option you are choosing.  Which ever side raises the most money wins!  So if you really want to see me bald, pony up!   Any amount is appreciated! 

We will continue to take donations indefinitely, but as to whether or not I shave my head, totals will be tallied on August 31st.
