JB Weather

  My name is John Bordash and I'm a 22 year-old college student. Some call me "JB" for short because of my background in the weather. During my senior year in high school, I began JB Weather. JB Weather is a forecasting outlet I own and operate that provides detailed forecast information for Southern Maryland and the surrounding communities. Since my days in elementary school, the weather has always fascinated me. Growing up, I would watch The Weather Channel for hours and draw my own weather maps. The weather now takes a more prominent position in my life. Friends and family can tell you that forecasting the weather really is at the center of my being. I will spend days at a clip with little sleep to put together forecasts and track the weather that impacts the community. Having called Southern Maryland my home for over 20 years, I know how important this information is.

JB Weather currently has a system-wide following of over 26,000 people, with my forecasts reaching upwards of 250,000 - 500,000 people every month. JB Weather operates as a free service for anyone to access. As a college student in the Penn State system, I am constantly working to ensure that my community back home receives the information they need. 

To continue to improve the forecast quality of JB Weather and help out with my school expenses, I've started this page. Between working a full time job and being a full time school student, JB Weather takes the roll as more than a second full time job. Running this page is a big area of enjoyment for me. This would ensure that I can continue to provide high quality forecasts with the most up to date interface.
