Paul's Cancer Fight

The beginning of April, Paul was experiencing extreme back pain. Unable to find relief, we decided to go to the clinic, thinking it might be a kidney stone. After a CT scan, bloodwork, and urinalysis, a small stone was found but they said it would pass,  gave him medications and sent him home. A few weeks passed, as the pain intensified and started to move around his body. Paul started to drastically lose weight. We sought the advice of another doctor, after hearing all  of Paul symptoms she immediately sent us for more bloodwork and another scan. That evening ,she called and as she suspected, it looked like lymphoma. Long story short, after much testing ,more scans and biopsies Friday, July 21st (exactly 3 years to the day I was diagnosed) we saw Dr. Neel. He diagnosed Paul with T-cell Anaplastic Large cell lymphoma. A rare, very aggressive lymphoma. He is estimated to be a stage 3, as it is above and below his diaphram. Paul has not been able to work for weeks, due to the  horiffic pain in his body. He is not able to speak very well due to the enlarged lymphnodes in his neck. Paul is a proud, determined man. He is not one to ask for help, but as a self employed handyman by trait, the physical work he just can not do. This wednesday, he will begin Chemotherapy at the Health first cancer center,3 days of treatments and then 20 days off. We unfortunately do not know how many rounds of chemo he will have yet. Anything that is raised for Paul will help his medical expenses, travel to Moffitt Cancer center in tampa to see the T-cell specialists and bills. Paul, was my rock during my cancer fight.
