Hi, we are Tracy and Teresa Spencer. In 2015 we surrendered to God's call on our life into the Mission Field. Our calling is to the Philippines with a specific desire to reach the Muslim and Tribal populations there for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We also minister to all others God puts in front of us along the way. We've collaborated with our local church, friends and family to organize a Non-Profit Corporation: ROOFTOP COVENANT MISSION.
The ministry's spiritual and financial rescources are used to share Jesus and minister to specific needs.
We want to cross cultural and denominational boundaries, "for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him"- Romans 10:12.
After a 3-week ministry trip to Batangas City in January 2015, we began praying, planning, and raising funds to move there permanently. On November 4th 2016, we moved and began permanent minstry there in Batangas City on the southern most part of Luzon Island.
In 2 short months God has moved us into full-time ministry in the village of Malitam - one of the poorest, and most dagerous in Batangas City. In partnership with two local government programs, we've been given approval to provide spiritual counseling to clients of the Department of Welfare and Scoial Reform, and clients of the Dangerous Drug Board. The result is that souls are being saved and lives are changing as Jesus engrains himself in the community and as we move closer to the muslim population.
At the risk of sounding boastful, a total of 46 adults and 6 children have accepted Jesus Christ and entered into a process of recovery and/or descipleship inside this ministry!
But it doesn't stop there.
-We're committed to a long-term relationship with M25, a local minstry to the homeless.
-We still engage with the Muslim community in Northwest Araknsas through friendship and Bible Study Ministries.
-One day Rooftop Covenant Mission will provide tuition assistance, for those called to the mission fields, to *Foundations, *TOAG, *Perspectives, and other Mission Prep / Training programs and to provide assistance with access to the field with us for training and experience.
-We want to see this ministry's presence throughout the Philippines, South Asia, and Indonesia, and across the 10/40 window to North Africa.
It's a BIG vision, But we serve a Bigger God.
Teresa and I have comitted 100% of our personal wealth to this cause, and expect to live out our days in service to the cause of Jesus Christ, and we ask you to join us in prayer and with your financial support.
