When we first decided to pursue adoption, we were nervous, excited and completely unaware of how our story would unfold. A year after finishing the necessary paperwork, completing a home study and being matched with an expectant mom in January, we’re ready to add a baby boy to our family! It’s been a long process but we’re very excited for this new adventure in our lives. We are also so grateful for the love and support we’ve received from family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers! It has been extremely humbling to realize how many people love us, and to feel that genuine love, especially after the passing of our our baby girl, Maely, over a year ago.

As you may imagine, adoption costs add up quickly! Through saving, fundraising (by selling fireworks and having a large garage sale) and applying for adoption grants, we’ve been able to earn enough to cover most of our expenses. However, there are still a few last fees that we left to pay. We are hoping to raise between $2,000-$3,000 which should give us enough to cover the last of our costs. If you have a desire and the ability to help us, we would be so grateful! We also appreciate all the prayers we can get sent our way.
