Help Emily Kick Cancer's Ass

On June 30th 2017 I received the results from the biopsy of the strange lump on my arm. It was Rhabdomyosarcoma. I had never heard of this word. I never thought I could have cancer. I am 28 years old, how could this happen to me?  

I will need to undergo intensive chemotherapy, removal surgery and radiation.  This treatment will put me out of work for the time being. 

I just moved to Vermont in November 2015 from Wingdale NY. I have made so many friends and had so many laughs since then and I will continue to kick ass after all this is said and done. 

This has been a whirlwind of doctor visits and emotions. Needless to say I've accumulated many bills. I also will need help getting back and forth between treatments. My goal is to raise 15k to help cover the out of pocket deductible on my insurance for the next 2 years, uncovered medical expenses and ongoing grocery bills. 

Every little bit helps and I truly appreciate everyone who has reached out to me and supported me in this process.
