Wynona's House Annual Holiday Magic

Wynona’s House Child Advocacy Center has led the way in building awareness, providing education and inspiring hope to everyone involved in the effort to prevent the sexual abuse and neglect of our nation’s children. So far this year Wynona’s House has served 620 child victims of sexual and physical abuse by coordinating the investigation, prosecution, treatment and prevention of child sexual abuse and neglect cases in Essex County, New Jersey.
In order to continue in our mission of helping these special children, we need your help! I am asking for your assistance in Wynona’s House annual Holiday Magic campaign. This campaign is made up of two parts: a Wish List and a Holiday Party. The Wish List allows for each child in the home to list two items they would like to get this holiday season. This portion of the campaign is made possible by generous community members that vow to fulfill one gift from each child’s wish list or make a monetary donation toward the gift.
The second part of this campaign is an end of the year holiday celebration. Through donations collected from community organizations and individual donors we are able to invite the immediate families out for an evening of music, dinner and laugher. The holidays provide a unique opportunity to create happy childhood memories during a very difficult time in their lives.
Please get involved in our gift giving campaign and be the magic in a family’s life this holiday season! We are asking for donations to help put gifts under these children's trees and also to give them a party they will never forget!
The vision of Wynona’s House is to create a community where children are safe, families are strong, and victims become children again. The holidays provide a unique opportunity to create happy childhood memories during a very difficult time in their lives. We hope that you will join us in our Holiday Magic endeavor this year!

Thanks to Joana's Kookiez the children were able to decorate their own holiday cookies to take home or have for dessert.
Everyone was in the holiday spirit.
