MATCHING FUNDS TO RAISE THE BARN

Tax deductible

                                                                                        GOD CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS

The Intercessors of the Trinity  (IOTT)  started this campaign as a result of receiving a $100,000 matching grant from an anonymous donor in September, 2018 for our capital campaign; to date the ministry has received over $25,000.00 toward that goal from gofundme and other donors . We are forming  volunteer fund raisers, to research and contact donors, many who have received benefit from the ministry in the past, and others who believe in our mission.  Below is our story, our mission, our passion,  our beliefs and the journey  that God has mapped out for us.   We hope after you have read this you also believe in our ministry, mission and become a donor.

Story

HISTORY: IOTT was established in 2007. Fully aligned with the teachings of the Catholic Church, its beginnings were simple, with weekly meetings held in the home of its founders, Deacon Brian and Dee Kerby. As the number of participants grew, the ministry began to receive spiritual direction from Monsignor Ken Leone, which continues to this day.

Eventually, IOTT moved to a multi-use event location known locally as “the Barn” in Evergreen, Colorado. The ministry has begun seeking a permanent location that is closer to the Catholic community.  It currently utilizes a facility in Littleton, Colorado for meetings on an interim basis.

IOTT offers a variety of programs, in addition to weekly prayer sessions for healing, including retreats, teaching seminars, healing adoration services at local parishes and visitations to the seriously ill. All work of the ministry, which has no paid employees, is overseen and operated by volunteers.   During the last 11 years we have observed healing of all types resulting from group prayers at our Ministry. From healing of all type of cancers and other diseases to helping people with financial, emotional mental and other personal issues. We ask you to visit our website and hear the testimony's from people who have experienced healing as a result of prayer.

MISSION: IOTT awakens the desire within to the truth of the intimacy of God. We teach how to develop a relationship with all three Persons of the Blessed Trinity. We meet people where they hurt, pulling them into family – the Intercessors of the Trinity family.  Through this family of God, they feel loved, start the healing process and begin to build a Bridge back into the Kingdom, which promotes their becoming active in the Church and its ministries.

Intercessors of the Trinity helps people pursue the heart of God, Who promises that “when you seek Me with all your heart, you will find Me with you, and I will change your lot.”  Relying on the teachings of the Catholic Church, Sacred Scripture and Sacred Tradition, the mission of Intercessors of the Trinity is to help people encounter God the Father, who loves us and created us for a purpose, Jesus who heals us, and the Holy Spirit who fills us with His power.

Through various teachings on healing and deliverance, as well as scriptural meditations and testimony, people are equipped to live out the gospel of Jesus Christ in daily life, learn healing through the power of prayer, to overcome spiritual, emotional and physical blocks that keep them from walking through life with peace, joy and hope.

While members of all faiths, beliefs and walks of life are welcome to Intercessors of the Trinity, it is a Catholic ministry that bridges people to move confidently into relationship with the Trinity and avail themselves of all the Sacraments and treasures of the Catholic faith.

Funding – mostly capital but a portion for operational needs – is required by Intercessors of the Trinity to meet the needs of the Catholic faithful in our community.

CAPITAL: Up to this point, there has been no need for capital funds. Intercessors of the Trinity lacks a permanent location that is needed to establish a consistent identity in the Catholic community.  Temporary locations at properties that are used for other non-ministry purposes make it difficult to expand our programs and provide a place for healing to occur throughout the week.  We occasionally have been able to utilize parishes in the area for program events, but most parish venues are prioritized for their own ministry needs.  Without a property that is clearly identified for use only by Intercessors of the Trinity, the ministry will be unable to meet the pressing needs of the faithful in our community.

OPERATIONAL: Up to this point, there has been only minor need for operational funds. Volunteer efforts provided by our staff have helped us to significantly limit expenses, which generally are only for outside contract fees and materials (e.g., accounting, legal, website and business collateral).

For these reasons, there have not been needs to establish income streams through donations and/or product offerings.  The costs that are incurred are covered by weekly tithe offerings.

USE OF FUNDS

With the pressing need to provide our ministry’s programs to the community during these difficult times for the Church and the world in general, Intercessors of the Trinity has identified the need for significant funding.

IOTT has  a core Finance Committee of ministry volunteers, each with business backgrounds, who are meeting regularly with a commercial property broker to canvas the area to find suitable properties to acquire as a permanent location.  While acquisition is the goal, the committee is open to a lease or rental opportunity.  Ideally, the property would be about 2-3 acres, located in the southern part of Jefferson County, Colorado with either vacant land for construction of a Ministry building or suitable structures that could be remodeled as such.  Our tentative plan for the property is as follows:

o   A building with a main conference room that seats approximately 200 with the ability to expand.

o   2 breakout areas/rooms

o   3-4  rooms for spiritual direction

o   A chapel for private prayer

o   A  business office

o   A  kitchenette for catering purposes

o   Parking

The initial use of funds would be capital in nature – for the down payment, closing costs and startup needs to purchase and develop the property.  Operational funds also would be required to fund periodic insurance, mortgage, utilities and maintenance as needed after acquisition.

We have formed a Program Committee to develop curricula for offerings such as:
