Funeral costs for Chase

Our friend Alisa and her family have suffered a tremendous loss. Yesterday, her 16 year old son Chase suffered a seizure at school, had several cardiac events and his heart stopped for 15 minutes. They sent him via Medivac to CHOP, but unfortunately they told her he has no brain activity. They are selflessly donating Chases organs so that he may help others live on.
Chase was born with Congenital Hydrocephalus, visual impairment and Autism. His life was not an easy one requiring around the clock care, but Ali made sure she did everything possible to help him live his best life. She told me today that “Chase has always been a fighter and could always put a smile on anyone’s face. He has always been the rainbow on a rainy day”.
Any parent of a disabled child knows how difficult it is to find nursing coverage and care, so they they can continue to work to provide for their family. Chase was uninsurable with life insurance due to his medical disabilities, and any resources Ali had went to providing care for Chase. She is now faced with the heartbreaking task of having to bury her son and financially she doesn’t know how she will cover the cost.
Ali has always been the first person to volunteer to help anyone with a fundraiser, a function, event or anyone who needed help despite the enormous responsibilities she had in her life. Any donation to help ease the financial burden from her would be greatly appreciated. Please keep Alisa and her family in your prayers.
