Lower Sussex County NAACP Youth Council

Donation protected
#PrintmakersAgainst Racism is choosing the week of October 5th as  week to raise monies for local work committed to combating racism.  I have decided to ask your support of the Lower Sussex County (Delaware)  NAACP Youth Council. This   gathering of young people, with Mr. Manuel Davis as their advisor, exists to support and encourage new leaders in the movement for racial justice.  Through a program of education, coaching in leadership skills, and critical thinking the youth council works to celebrate the reality that Black Lives Matter.  I have been fortunate enough to walk with these young people, meet with them, and work with their advisor.  This fund raising is to support their ongoing work.

If you want to directly contribute to their work, send a donation to Lower Sussex County NAACP Youth Council #2719,  P.O. Box 78, Harbeson, DE 19951.  If you make a  donation of $100 through GoFundMe, here, I will send you a signed original relief print “To Resist is to be Free”, printed on rice paper and temporarily mounted on foam board for mailing purposes, suitable for framing. All proceeds after the GoFundMe minimal charge,  go to the Youth Council and you will receive an acknowledgement of payment.  The Youth Council is a 501c4 organization so is not a charitable contribution for tax purposes.

I hope you will support this fund raising effort. It is a small contribution from one printmaker in a word of printmakers committed to combat racism.  Here is the print image (unfortunately truncated)
