Tamico's Medical Trip

Hello, my name is Tamiko Rahming and currently I live in Nassau, Bahamas. Now I know you are asking why is she setting up this account and she lives in paradise? True, this is where I currently reside, but right now this is not the best place for my husband. In April of this year my husband Tamico (yes, same first name, LOL) was diagnosed with late stage 4 kidney disease. I am the one that figured out what this was because kidney disease WAS a generational curse that ran on my mother's side of the family. My oldest brother, two of my cousins, my aunt and my uncle have all fought this disease and have had transplants and are doing well. My husband was hospitalized for a week to try and deal with the situation. They did the best they could. Here in the Bahamas the health care system is not the very best. Too many people and not enough equipment to deal with all of the issues. They do not have universal health care so everything we had done we had to pay for, and the cost was astronomical! Before they would even put him on dialysis he has to get an echo of his heart and to get that it costs $500. Money that we do not have. So we have changed our diets and do more exercise to try to stop the progression, and it worked for a time, but that time is up. My husband is now in stage 5 which is the end stage. We have been to the nephrologist (kidney specialist) and even she has suggested that we come back to the states so that he can get proper medical attention. They do not have the capacity to treat kidney disease here. They don't even have a kidney donor registry here. Those that use the dialysis machines cannot be on there the full amount of time they are supposed to because they don't have enough machines for the amount of people that are dealing with this disease. So Tamico needs to be on dialysis asap! So the goal of this account is to help get us back to the states. Time is surely of the essence and we need to get there as soon as possible. My faith is strong and I know that God is keeping him, and I don't want things to get worse before he can get the proper medical attention he needs. So please, help us to meet this goal!  We have only been married for two years and to help save my husband's life and to give us more years together would mean the world to me. Anything you can give will help us. I would like to get us there next month. The bible says that you have not, because you ask not, and when you ask, you ask the wrong way, so I'm coming to ask for support and help to get me and my husband back to the States so that he can get the best possible care that he needs.
