man of house hospitalized. 1 income

As many of you know Bryan had a devestating accident on January 21, 2018. He was in the hospital from January 21-26. He had 2 surgeries on his hand at that time. He went back to the Hospital on Tuesday February 13 to go have his skin graft done but when they put him on the operating table part of his hand wasn’t healing properly like the doctor was hoping it would. So the doctor told us to go to the emergency room at the same hospital that he had the surgery right away. They had to put a wound vac on his hand to help get blood flowing again to the part that isn’t healing properly. So now he is going to be in the hospital from February 15 to February 22. He got the wound vac put on yesterday and is going to have another surgery sometime next week before he goes home again. When he finally goes home after that surgery he will have a home nurse come and change it out for him 3 days a week. He could possibly have this wound vac on for up to 2 months and be out of work even longer. Once this wound vac comes off he will then have to have his skin graft done which will keep him out of work longer. Bryan had the accident when we returned home from hunting that weekend. He was bringing everything into the house and the zipper on his rifle case broke. As he went to open the garage door and he felt the gun slipping out of the case and his reaction was to grab it with his right hand but slipped out and hit the ground and set off the pin. The bullet went through his hand causing a lot of damage. It’s going to be a long recovery. He won’t be able to move his wrist again, but at least he will be able to move his fingers. We don’t like to ask for help but Bryan is the only breadwinner for our family and now that he’s out of work things are getting scary. We don’t have any idea when he’ll be able to return to work. Our lives have been turned upside down.
