Becoming Independent Garden Project
Tax deductible
Help me raise
$3,000 to donate to a garden project at Becoming Independent (BI) in
Santa Rosa, a service organization that promotes community inclusion and
participation for people with developmental disabilities throughout Sonoma
County. As you may know, a close friend of mine passed away recently. Tyler
worked several years for BI and was influential in improving the garden with
his clients, particularly the compost operation. I am running the California
International Marathon on December 8th, and would like to use this
opportunity to support something that Tyler would have appreciated.
Your support will be used to purchase infrastructure for the garden such as tools, pots, and gloves; for new seeds in the spring; and a bench dedicated to Tyler that will reside in the garden. If you wish to put your name on the donation, I will keep you updated with photos and new developments, and also be able to send you a big THANK YOU.
