KenCada International Academy educates the whole child and provides distinctive educational experiences that focus on academic achievement and experiential learning. It is a local school with an international presence.
The school is located in Mombasa, Kenya. East Africa is currently undergoing a surge of socio-economic growth and my belief that a good primary education is essential for the success of the next generation in Kenya. Thus, I started KenCada Internationl Academy with a colleague last year with the vision to build a partnership of Kenya and Canadian educational practices that provide a meaningful education experience. It is intended to be a self-sustaining business development project.
We launched in January 2014 with 7 students and began our second year in January 2015 with over 70 students. The response to this venture has clearly captivated the parents in the community and the school has grown more than anticiapted in the first year. The school is now in dire need of a second bus and some teacher equipment such as a photocopier.
To date, I have personally provided all the capital to start the school. I am seeking financial assistance to maintain the growth of the school. Your contribution is greatly appreciated.
