Medical Supplies to Cameroon

Global Health Education Outreach would be carrying out a medical mission trip to Cameroon in July 2017 to provide training to Nurses and local community members. We would also donate medical supplies and medications to rural areas in Cameroon. Assistance is needed to transport the medical supplies and medications that have been donated as well as training events for Nurses. Any extra donations would go towards supporting the mission of Global Health Education Outreach which is to provide medical supplies and medications to rural hospitals while raising awareness on pertinent health issues through health education. 




My Story:
In 2009 when I took a personal trip to Cameroon one of my family members was sick in the rural parts of the country so I went to the hospital to visit them. The lack of some basic medical supplies and equipments touched my heart. I also saw the way the Nurses were interacting with the patients. Being a Nurse myself I thought these young Nurses would greatly benefit from some educational programs to adequately provide appropriate healthcare. I asked to speak to to the director of Education and they didn't have one. Upon my return to the United States I kept pondering how to solve this pertinent issue the best way possible. It was then that Global Health Education Outreach was created in 2013.
