Hello family and friends!
As most of you know, Eric was diagnosed with prostate cancer a few years back. His medical team was able to keep the cancer somewhat under control until just recently. About a month ago, tests revealed that the cancer had spread throughout his body, attacking various bones in his ribs, spine, collarbone, and hip.
At this time we are requesting assistance from whomever can afford to do so, to help us with enourmously expensive medical bills (building to the hundreds of thousands), and travel expenses back and forth to Rochester, MN, that we simply are unable to afford. Frankly, we have never even had the opportunity to take a trip together due to low income, but now we are faced with travel that is mandatory for survival.
Neither of us are asking for help to take vacations. All of the money raised here will go towards medical bills and travel for medical reasons only. Monetary donations are of course the most helpful and very appreciated, however we also would be very humbled to accept any other housing or travel donations to the Rochester, MN area. We understand and realize how precious resources are, but at this time we are both reminded of how life and having each other are truly far more precious.
